Core Scientific to buy Polaris for $421M to boost AI capacity
TLDR Core Scientific agreed to acquire Polaris DS LLC for $421 million to expand its AI data center operations in Oklahoma. The deal will add 440 megawatts of contracted power through Oklahoma Gas and Electric to support high-density computing.
